From what I have read, you are required to have at least the driver's side mirror. Unless the cameras get mounted with the mirror, the mirror could fold-up in the body of the car, and pop-out when needed. (vehicle inspections) Consider 3 cameras. 2 Sides and 1 rear. Consider 3 LCD screens in the thingypit giving you a wide view of your surroundings. If you had digital steering, you could have the camera LCD's mirrored and the steering controls mirrored whenever you are in reverse. You would look at your screens and drive just as normal, but looking at your screens and in reverse!
